Speed Up Your PC With a Few Simple Steps

Assalamualaikum....

Entry copy paste lagi...

Tired of Windows® slow downs, startups that take all day, or sluggish Internet speeds? PC Tools has built a simple checklist you can follow to improve your PC's performance in just a few clicks.
1- Delete Temporary Internet Files and Windows Temporary Files.
Each time you visit a new website, content is stored in your Temporary Internet Files folder, which may cause your favorite websites to load slowly and take up valuable hard disk space. To delete these temporary files and speed up your computer, go to "Tools", then "Internet Options" and select the "Delete" option on your browsing history in Internet Explorer.
2- Eliminate unused files & Windows desktop shortcuts.
Every file and application that sits on your desktop takes up extra memory. Do you really need immediate access to each of those? Delete as many shortcuts as you can.
Another quick performance fix is to delete unused files. Make a backup just in case you need them later and delete unused files from your hard disk.
3- Uninstall unused programs.
The more programs you have installed, the slower your system will become. It's important to remove programs that you are unlikely to use again. To completely delete a program, use the "Uninstall" command in the Add/Remove program center of Control Panel. Simply deleting the folder and files won't completely remove the program from your PC and may even cause more PC errors.
4- Empty the Recycle Bin.
Files that you delete from your computer are still stored in your recycle bin and will continue to take up valuable hard disk space on your computer - remember to empty your Recycle Bin regularly.
5- Schedule regular antivirus & antispyware scans, including a quick daily scan and a full weekly scan.
Aside from stealing your financial data and identity, computer viruses and other malware can monopolize your computer's memory, slowing down basic functions including Internet browsing. Configuring your antivirus software to perform regular scans will identify any malicious software that is hindering your PC's performance.
6- Clean your registry.
Problems with the Windows Registry, the database that stores all of your computer's settings and options, is a common cause of Windows crashes, decreased performance and error messages. Registry cleaning software can identify pieces of the registry that aren't working correctly and repair them, or remove sections that are no longer needed. This will significantly speed up your PC, including startup and shutdown times.

7- "Defrag" your computer.
Each time you open a file, make changes and save them, your computer stores the changes in a different place on your hard disk. This means that each time you open the document, your computer has to put together the pieces, which can be a time consuming process. The Windows defragmentation tool will consolidate each of the fragmented files on your hard disk for faster file access and reduced load on your computer, speeding up functionality.
p/s: Aku selalu buat yang nombor 1 dengan nombor 4 tu.. Yang lain-lain tu kadang-kadang je aku buat. Aku guna Chrome, so, yang nombor 1 tu aku klik kat Network and Sharing Center, pastu bila keluar page tu, aku klik kat Internet Options, pastu kat bahagian Browsing History tu aku klik Settings, pastu aku klik View Files, pastu nanti keluar la anak-beranak 'cookies' tu.. Pastu delete je sekali rap..

**sekali rap=sekali gus...
